Deltiology - Postcards with an Edge?!!

So here at Creative Cornucopia one of the other things alongside designers we collect are postcards!! Yes each week we shall share with you some of our favourite postcards.

The postcards will vary from events that we have visted, to clients postcards, right through to the down right arty arthouse postcards and postcards we find amusing!

Join us on our Deltiology quest = Deltiology (from Greek δελτίον, deltion, diminutive of δέλτος, deltos, “writing tablet, letter”; and -λογία, -logia) is the study and collection of postcards.

Or just plain postcard collectors!

The First Lady Fayre - 18th December 2011 The Rag Factory London E1

So I have been invited to The First Lady Fayre this weekend on Sunday 18th December 2011, not just as an attendee but as a speaker.

I am delighted and honored to be rubbing shoulders with the incomparable Tamu Thomas and Sonia Meggie! I will be speaking about Retail and the impact it has on creative businesses especially in the current climate. What can one do to up their game in the retail environment? Are you costing your products effectively? How do you get people to notice your products, How and where should you be trading? and hopefuly a little more.

The First Lady is back with its third installment of the First Lady Fayre. This event is
a double celebration, marking their first anniversary and second Christmas Fayre!
The First Lady Fayre is a unique retail extravaganza showcasing a range of
products, goods and services from female creative entrepreneurs. In addition to this
they will have live performances from some fantastic musicians and workshops focused
on developing your business/ business idea and wellbeing (this includes two Zumba
classes!).
